World Teacher’s Day:
On the 5th of October is the annual World Teacher’s Day. Today we celebrate teachers around the world.
Teachers are passionate about uplifting and developing youth, and many successful people today can point out that one teacher in their who made the difference.
Our Scouters are the key to the success of the programs which are run. Without them, there would be no Scouts!
Thank you to all of our Scouters who dedicate their time to creating and running our 58th Durban Air Scouts group, and making an impact on the hearts of each individual.
In South Africa, through the spirit of Ubuntu, we say “Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu”. Ubuntu is an ancient African word meaning ‘humanity to others’. It is often described as reminding us that ‘I am what I am because of who we all are’.
Teachers, we thank you!
